SVO intake on an N/A?

Will the SVO intake manifold bolt directly onto the N/A 2.3? I found where I can get ahold of one cheap, and I want to know if I should buy it. And it will give me a bit of extra horsepower, right?

Other than the old inline intake, It's the same setup used on all of them up to '90. Anything later than that had a different design on both the head and the intake and they won't swap.

The SVO's advantage came from what fed the intake rather than the intake itself

Nope. The SVOs used intakes that were the same as the other EFI 2.3s. Buy it anyway; someone with an SVO might need it and you can pass on the good price.
