Here is the pump I bought. This guy has been selling these for a long time, and I havent seen any complaints about them.

I am getting about a foot worth of the gates 5/16 submersible fuel line, a nylon 5/16 90 degree fitting, and 4 smooth fuel line clamps to do the pprv delete.

Hopefully it will go smooth. Ill take pics when I do it.

Sweet. Take pics for sure. I put my svt pump in last year and didnt do the pprv delete. Now I gotta drop the tank again once I get my blower put on.

Well, I got too busy with it and did not take pics, but its done. I ended up using a 5/16 brass fitting. It was pretty straight forward, I think I have maybe $35 in the entire PPRV delete. I drilled holes in the bottom and the sides of the fuel basket. I also put a screw in the little tube that helps fill the basket (should help prevent fuel loss, since fuel is routed from the fuel pump to it). The only fuel line I disconnected was the line going from the hat to the filter.

The only thing I noticed, is that with the pprv delete and svt focus pump, it appears that I am running just a very slight bit less pressure at idle than I did with the stock pump (29.5 psi vs 30 psi). I took the car around the block and it drove fine. When the boost a pump kicked in, i was making a tad bit more pressure than the stocker. I didnt really get to pay attention to the fuel pressure gauge as I was driving, so I dont know if there is any other fluctuations or differences. I suppose I will find everything out for sure when I put it on the dyno.

Did the car hesitate between quick shifts before doing this?

oh yea, it fell flat on its face for a split second between shifts

last night I took it out for a good shake down since the roads were a little drier and warmer - huge difference in fuel pressure... when i used to quickly free rev the car the highest I have ever seen the fuel pressure surge to was 60 psi, with the new pump I saw nearly 100 psi at the rails. Another difference I have noticed is that the needle bounces a little. when the BAP kicked on before, the needle would jump straight to 50psi and there was little to no movement, now when it kicks in, the needle jumps past 50 and bounces around for a split second before settling back at 50. I am assuming it is doing this because of the pprv delete.
