Ok so I am in the car with my gf. She is driving her gt. I have my window down and all of a sudden I hear some beastly reving. I look to my right and there is a lightning with these dark tints next to us reving his engine and peeling his tires. It was very ominous looking it was great. So im like "REV YOUR ENGINE BACK!". So she revs back and the light turns green and they both gave it gas. But he was pretty much gone. Her car is pretty much stock except for flows, pullies and cai. It sure was fun to watch! I want one!

yep.. sounds about right.

I watched the Lightening Nationals a while back.. one guy had two identical lightenings (both red, both the 95 or so body style).. one used as a DD and tow truck to bring his other one (the race truck) to the track.

I watched the race truck crack off a mid 9 in the 1/4... then the guy gets his tow truck out and cracks off a high 10... I was like geezzz.. this dude has too much money to spend if he can own and mod two different lightenings to that sort of calibur.

Stock and lightly modded ones arent too blazing but you can get decent track times out of them, they are pretty slow on the street though without bigger mods. My friend's 02 Lightning went a 10.48@131 in the 1/4 and 6.65 in the 1/8. It's far from stock though.
