Hey guys

right now I have a 1990 mustang gt With an 86 block and heads(long story) with a cobra intake and e 303 cam. I was told that I was that with that setup I was not gonna have P to V clearance but just to let you guys know I did. Im gonna swap back to the 90 block and heads that belong in the car.I have the 90 block .30 over amd new pistons and bearings. I am gonna take the heads down and have them ported. What should I have them port them to ?
After I port them will I need diffrent lower intake gaskets? Lastly I had the bottom of the heads shaved just a little bit will this effect my P to V clearance or should I use a taller head gasket?

P.s. im using comp cam rollers and ford racing push rod but there stock lenght:SNSign:

what size cam?(roughly). also the 86 block is basically the same as the 90 block, just a different year, the 86's were special because they have the worse E6 heads and pistons with no valve reliefs. Since the 90 is out i would order a rebuild kit an ddo it that way(northernautoparts.com has a performance kit for about 470.00) actually i just read it has new pistons and bearings, if it has been ran with the bearings i would suggest replacing them, just because there could be unknown problems down the road(dont forget to prime the oiling system!), also GT40 heads can be found for rather cheap, and perform close to a set of highly ported E7's(from what i hear, i have no experience on the matter, however i have a set of GT40's getting ported locally right now), good luck either way it's gonna haul ass because its a mustang!

about all you can do is port the E7 to match the stock gasket size. A set of gt 40's or 351W would be alote nicer. With the e cam shouldn't been no probablem with P to V clearnce. I'am running ported E7 that have been shaved 30 thousands. with 1.7 RR with no probablem.
