Swap from 96 2v to 01+ 4v??

As is shown by about every other thread in tech, everyone seems to do the PI swap at one point or another. My question is what would it require parts-wise to swap stock heads/intake on a 96 GT block to 01+ 4v cobra heads and intake? Im assuming some computer stuff would have to be done, or is it not even worth it?

I'm not planning on this (not anytime soon at least, budget won't allow for that) but just want to know if its possible and what else would be needed to complete that swap? Yes i know it would probably be easier to just swap a 4v engine into it but i want to know if this is possible or has been done.

EDIT: also, would it be easier to swap 96-98 4v heads on a 2v stock engine rather than 01 heads? Just overall i guess what would be required to do a 2v to 4v headswap, leaving the year range as anywhere from 96-04

there are ebay motors sites that have 4v motors for $900 - $1700. these (blocks) are not compatable with rear wheel drive but the internals are.

Would be easyer to stuff in 99 - 01 cobra engine. If you put 4V Heads on 96 GT it will make your compression mess up. So its easyer to go with whole Engine Need any help on swap pm me.
