swap questions

ok i have a 97 gt and i'm thinking of doing a pi swap
i already have the heads and intake
not i researched the swap but i have a question
ok i have a hypertech chip in my car with a 160 t stat so right now i run 87 oct with no problems but when i do the headswap i know i will have to run 93 oct. but will it be okay with the chip in the car??? and will there be any problems i could run into when doing the swap?
should i get gaskets for a 97 motor or 99 motor?? or are they the same??

I just noticed you live in Haven, I live in the Lake Wynonah. Class 01' I'm down in Houston, TX going to UTI.

I wouldn't use your programmer. I have a Superchips 1725 and when I got in dynoed the A/F was not safe at all.

As for what u need as in parts and knowledge with the swap contact Randy. He's on Modular Depot. Go down to Ford Parts and explain what you have. He's a great help.
