I just bought a 5.0 vert, the woman we bought it form informed us that it was not a 5.0 originally, and that they did an engine swap. However, she said the only thing they changed is the computer. So the rest of it is running on 4cyl parts. Is there anything that needs to be changed, or anything to be concerned with considering they didn't change any other parts besides exhaust of course?

The transmission will have lower torque ratings, along with different gear rations inside of it. Some people swap 4 cyl transmissions behind the 5.0's and they live for a bit. The rear end is a 7.5 inch ring gear, a bit weaker than the 8.8 and I am not sure if they had the trac lock limited slip either. The front brakes are a bit smaller, (rotors). I'm sure there are other changes, these are a few off the top of my head.
