I swapped the instrument cluster on my 2011 Mustang GT 6MT and now the car won't start. The new cluster powers up, but the car will not start.

I thought the whole issue with PATs and instrument clusters was an earlier generation mustang issue, not the 2011+? Anyway to make this work without bringing it to the dealer?

on my 2014, the PATs transceiver is connected to the instrument cluster which then communicates with the ECU to start the engine. Maybe the ECU doesn't like the new ECU. Probably the same for 2011. Check on the forscan forum, and post there. Forscan software is able to PATs programming on some cars and it can modify the as-built of the instrument cluster if that is the problem. but you'll need an ODB adapter.
