swapped out pedals now brake lights dont work

well getting ready to swap in my 5speed i put the pedals in everything went pretty smooth untill i tried to shift from park. no brake lights ive tried everything with this damn lil sensor, even squeezing it manually wont even turn on the brake lights. heres some pics of the sensor im talking about

do i need a new sensor? ive tried positioning it both ways on the pedal with no luck

did you grab a meter or test light and see if it will pass juice when the switch is pressed? it probably was on its last leg and just went south (ive lost a few of those on cars and bikes). i like to make sure they pass 12 volts - a continuity test can be misleading (no load on the contacts). should be like a 5 dollar switch. good luck.

did you check fuses? And how much did the swap cost?

havnt checked any fuses but i will do that, and also use a test light to see what if anything is goin on. the swap total cost me a lil over a grand. used tranny, bellhousing and pedals with mostly everything else new

still using the stock AODE computer, the only thing ive changed so far is the pedals

ok problem fixed, it was a blown fuse, thanks for the help guys

Cool, let us know how the swap goes. There are so many guys on here doing the AOD-E to T5 swap right now!
