Swapping in a PI intake in a 98??

unless someone else besides livernois is making them now, they are more than 100 i believe. I swapped the PI intake on my 98 without the adapter plates. You have to be very careful and deliberate when reinstalling everything. Be sure to use a very good sealer and use it in all the right places. You should be able to do some searches on here and modular depot about this topic to find out more info. I flipped my mustang a few months after doing the swap, so beware that you don't end up with the same result.

I have heard about people not having to use those expensive adaptor plates in order to bolt a PI intake to NPI heads is this true? It consisted of like NPI intake gaskets or something like that? is this correct? someone help me out please....

If you are going to do it without the plates, use the PI intake gaskets. RTV is not meant to see gasoline products which it could using the NPI. There is just a little bit that has to be used on certain coolant ports when using the PI gaskets. RTV is meant to last against anti-freeze.
