Sway bar bushing bracket question

I have an 1988 Mustang and I bought new energy suspension Sway bar bushings and brackets (part # 9.5167G) which is what energy suspension calls for. And the bracket seem to be a good 1/2"-3/4" shorter than the stock ones. should I push it up to the sway bar sets closer to its mount? and will these brackets pull it up?

It should work though you may have to losen up your end links to get the sway bar to move upwards.

ok I'm going to have to try that then, I was just wondering if anyone had the same piece and installed it
