Sway Bars?

When I got my rear sway bar from PST, it came with an L bracket to mount traditional end links to it. You will need a longer bolt, though. For some reason the one included is too small. You will probably also need to get new spring plates with perches for the bushings. It came with some brackets to bolt the sway bar to the rear end housing, but they would require modifying the hard brake lines, and they may move the bar too close to the housing. I only test fitted it, and those brackets gave me those problems, so I decided to wait till I order some Cal-Tracs.

The rear swaybar end-link mounts are pretty much going to have to be found used. The endlinks also. I'm goint to try to get a replacement bushing for the body side. I was able to use standard end link bushings for the swaybar side.

Vince "The Fabricator" that used to post here a lot made a small batch of the body mounts up a few years ago. With the proper dimensions it should not be a big deal...especially if you don't mind using spherical rod ends on the body side.

The rear spring plates with the mounts for the swaybar will also have to come from a junkyard.

This is one project that is definately worth doing...especially if you are going to use the larger rear swaybar and poly bushings all around.

If you get Stumpy's traction bars they are already setup (drilled) for the rear sway bar and replace the rear spring plates.
