Right now I have 245/45/17 all around. I just picked up 4 255/40/17's and want to put 2 on the rear but not sure how it will look with the 245/45's on the front. Will it look equal, or will it look all ****ed up in the back. I know a 275/40 works out nice but what about a 255/40?

Thanks

I like the way that combo looks on my Saleen.

wtf? when did i miss the new addition? looks like a great car.

to the op, what size rims are you running? if 9" wide id try to get the 255's on all four. to me the 245's just look too narrow on a 9" rim. if youre using an 8" or less wide, then go for it, the o.d. should be pretty close to the same (the 255's will be shorter though).

There the rims in my sig...17" centerlines flutted 5 stars. I'm not sure what size they are. I might try going 255/40's all around. Right now with my 245/45's up front I get minor rubbing over big bumps but thats about it.

245/45/17's are 25.7" in diamter

255/40/17's are 25" in diamter

If you don't think you will notice the nearly 1" of diamter lost then go for it, otherwise i wouldn't personally do it.

I just picked up those 255/40/17's now I might be getting some scorpions with 255/45/17x2 and 255/40/17x2..hope these work out ok. Damn it...now I gotta sell the tires I just bought yesterday.
