Sylvania's website states that there are two part numbers for their fog lamps that match my car, 899 and 9145. Does anyone out there know the difference between these two lights? Is the left fog lamp different from the right or are they two different types of bulbs altogether? I recently bought the silverstar headlamps(9007) and I want the fogs to be the bright white light that I get out of the headlamps. However Sylvania doesn't produce a silverstar line for fog lamps. Does anyone have the 899 or 9145 bulbs so they could tell me if they are bright or not?

899 are the part number you want and they are bright. However, there is a manufacturing defect and mine blew in 2 months. They are replacing for free but I don't think they are currently selling them.
(The left/passenger fog is misaligned and I have crystal clear fog housings. Headlights AND fogs are Silverstar)

the silverstar comes in an 893 that fits our fogs, im running them now and they match the headlights perfectly
