T-3650 "Knotchiness"

My stock shifter on my '01 Cobra is waaaaaay too "knotchy" to suit me! Sometimes I find myself, at traffic stops, having to start out in 2nd gear rather than hold up the traffic behind me while I try to coax it into first, but it tends to be "knotchy" in all gears. Short of getting a different shifter, is their some type of gear oil I can refill the trany case with to help this problem? If so, what type do you recommend?

T3650's are known for that, and an aftermarket shifter should be one of the first mods someone puts on a mustang...saves the tranny's forks and synchros in the long run

why spend the time and the hassle tryign to fix this problem when a brand new short throw shifter costs under 200 dollars. In my opinion, you'd be better off with a new shifter.

I like my Steeda Tri-ax, but a lot of guys also like the Pro-5.0 shifter too...

TSB in still up in the air... But I'll be waiting for it too.

I've got the tri-ax shifter for now in my 01 .. does wonders for shifting, but not a complete fix.
