Will the stock T-45 transmission with the stock clutch and the stock 8.8" rear end hold up to about 400hp (to the crank, not at the wheels)? If not what would I need to do? I guess I should look for a used TKO500 and get a Spec or Centerforce clutch but I don't know. I wouldn't be racing a lot but then again I don't want to blow my transmission across the track.

Sweet. I have a lot of **** to sell and a lot of work to do this summer. I want to get a Kenne Bell 2.1L Twin Screw Intercooled Blower for my car. That will put me where I want to be HP wise.

Well, that 95 GT has a T5, and the T45 is essentially the same thing, just newer. I've seen those take some serious abuse, so I wouldn't put my worry there. I'd look more at the 28 spline axles as the weak point.
