T-5 Transmission

Do they make brand-new T-5's anymore? Where can I get a new T-5? How many miles do you think a T-5 can handle? Can I put a Hurst shifter on it?

Well some companies sell "new" T5's but they run about $1000.

I think most T5's can go into pretty high mileage without having any problems. The one in my thunderbird is nearing 150K.

And yes you can put a mustang-specific Hurst shifter on a T5.
