T-56 transmission fluid question?

I have a 2000 GT and just ordered a T-56 transmission and wondered what kind of fluid you all put in your tranny? Would Royal Purple Synchromesh be compatible? Thanks in advance.

Depends really. Where exactly did you order the tranny from? I know that GM recommends different lubrication for their T-56 compared to Ford or Mopar.

Personally I run Mobil 1 synthetic ATF in mine. I'm not a big fan of RP in anything.

Would Royal Purple Synchromesh be compatible?

I changed to RP Synchromesh about 500 miles ago. It seems to shift a little smoother then stock.
