I am planning t5 conversion.
Can someone tell me if late year 5.0 clutch (e.g. 87) can fit to earlier year flywheel with 28 oz balance? I would not like to end up drilling holes if they did not match. Do they have same pilot bearing? thanks

You need a flywheel drilled to the late model clutch, or use a clutch with an early model pattern. There are late model style diaphragm clutches with an early bolt pattern available, if that's what you're looking for.

Not sure about the pilot bearing, since I ordered a kit that included pilot bearing and throwout bearing.

Thanks, I was looking more like $100 stock flywheel, not 28oz performance one which I believe is predrilled for both new and old clutch.

I figured out that old stock flywheels are drilled for 10" clutches, while later are drilled for 10.5", so won't fit. Easiest way to go is to machine out 22oz from later flywheel
