Running a 357 2500-6000rpm range w/ 4.10 gears is a T5 or C4 better?

for drag racing? with that broad of aquestion, i think it would be hard for anyone to disagree that a builtC4 with a nice conveter would be better. But i dont know if this is a street car that wants OD or whatever. To many un-asked questions

would a built C4, lets say the Performance Automatic SS version (475HP max), be good for a street car.
