t5 question

lately my 94 gt has been giving me a slight grinding when i go to 3rd gear when i accelerate hard with easing off the throttle between shifts. my car is stock except for exhaust and the tranny fluid has been changed about a year ago. it only has 51k miles, should i start saving now for future rebuild or is it normal?

It could be the clutch not disengageing 100% or your synchros need replacing.. at least these are the most common things....

thanks for the reply 94-302-vert and urban 96. my clutch seems to be real strong still but i have noticed that when i push in the clutch i get this creaking noise when i push the clutch pedal in. maybe it's time for a new quadrant and cable.
