Nah, because I look at the driver and let him know my sister could drive that car faster than he does (she only weighs 110-115 lbs). I am a fan of something that takes skill to drive and make go fast! I have no problem getting beat by an auto car, I have been (funny thing is the ones that do have a LOT more mods) but in the end had way more fun slamming gears than the auto driver!
Also the sister thing, she could barely get my car moving on a hill but could go out in a C4 equipped car and run faster than pretty much any guy I know!
to each his own, but to imply an auto car needs more done to it to beat a stick is silly. Find a saturday night southside chicago street race that is worth a few thousand bucks and let me know if you still want that stick.
I am the kind of guy who'd rather lose a close race banging his own gears, than win a blow out with an auto! I just enjoy driving a stick car and getting the complments from it... and dont worry up in New England we have some "decent" races and money going on, I just dont have the power to get involved!
