T5 syncro question

well im sellin the car so atm im gettin new paint laid n cleanein the int n all that good stuff but mechanically the only thing wrong with the car is the 5th gear syncros are shot. Grinds when u shift into fifth. If u jus barely press it into gear it grabs and pulls itself in no grind or nething but if u try n push it in its grinds.
So i was wondering if neone knows where i can get a t5 syncro rebuild kit, and what the run for.

think its worth the hastle of fixin or jus sell it as is like u said..... most ppl that want it r complete idiots when it comes to cars dont kno anyhting at all.

well i jus got off the fone with a buddy i asked em bout the prob and he says he thinks it has something to do with the bellhousing and clutch not being lined up right and it puts a wierd load on the tranny never heard of this b4 but could it b the prob?

possibly, but more than likely its just a bad synchro. he bellhousing and clutch not being lined up will make the tranny pop out of gear and could cause the tranny to bind up if its off enough. i would just sell it and not worry about the synchro. just tell them when they buy it

5th gear syncro is easy to replace, its in the tailhousing.
