i just swapped a t5 into my car and it wont go into gear with the car running, with the car off i can row threw all the gears just fine.

i tried putting it in gear then starting it but when i let the clutch out i get nothing

could i possibly have a fox t5? i never measured the imput shaft before i put it in  but the guy i bought it from said it was out of a 94 and the bell housing, & clutch fork fit just fine. driveshaft went in all the way... i dunno

after you put your clutch and what not in and hooked up your cable, did you sit in your car and physically pull your clutch pedal TOWARDS you with your toes until it popped?

i dont know what that is called, but i know you have to do that after you hook up your clutch cable

pro-5.0 shifter... i dont think its the stops or it wouldnt go into gear with the car off:shrug:

i have a steeda clutch quadrant... i took the stock plastic thing off

what kind of clutch you using. I had this same problem on one of my racen cars. It turned out that it was a combination of a flywheel that had been resurfaced too many times, and a clutch disk that was slightly thicker than the specs called for. It is definately a clutch problem though.

Good deal. How ya' like the T-5? You were AODE before, right?

I need to get an adjustable firewall piece. How much did you fork out for that? A guy from corral wants to sell me his Jeg's (2 pieces) for $20.00 never used. I went & bought some parts from him, but not that, because I didn't know how much they go for......

i got the $30 piece from UPR, i think its their new design with locking screws
