T56 behind a 2.3?

hey fellars i'm pickin up an SVO here soon and i already have a pretty modded 95 that i will be taking a bunch of parts from.

the main one i am concerned with is can i take my T56 and put it on the 2.3---i know the bell is different, but i was hoping maybe someone had seen/heard/done the swap before.
