T56 vs 3650

This guy I bought my CC plates from today has a complete T56 that he said he'd sell to me for $400. He worked at Ford and got it from one of their $1 auctions. Supposedly it didnt pass and wasnt up to the standard for a production car, but nothing is wrong with it? I still gotta ask him why it didnt pass. But you think I should get it or just pass on it?

Soulds like a pretty good deal. If it were me, I'd probably do it but that doesn't mean you shouldn't investigate.
