Hey guys, this is my first post, but i bought my 92 LX 5.0 a few months ago and it has had this problem since the day I got it. When i start the car the tach goes up to between 2500-3000 RPM's and just stays there until the actual RPM's get to wherever it sits (depends on the day, sometimes 2500 or sometimes around 2800) and then it works past the 2500-3000 where it sits most of the time. Now i have the AOD so I don't have to worry about knowing when i shift, but it's annoying. If i Changed out the gauge (sp?) cluster would that fix it? Anything will help
