TACH WITH MSD COIL QUESTION

I just bought a auto meter tach and on the box it states that if hooked up to a MSD coil the warenty will be void, My quesion is will an msd coil mess my tach up.

most likely not, but if you dont want to chance it, dont.

can i just stick with the stock one is it that big of a difference im going to have alot of bolt ons but nothing in the ignition area thanks

You misread that as I have an Autometer tach and installed it many moons ago. It states if the Tach is hooked up to the coil on a car equipped with an MSD ignition (the box like a 6AL) instead of to the ignition box's tach port then the warrenty is void. Is all you have is an MSD blaster coil and no aftermarket MSD ignition box with tach port then conenct the tach to the negative side of the coil as usual.

Stock ignition is good to 400 HP if you don't have NO2 or pressurized induction. Stick with the stock ignition and you can use any tach you want.
