does anyone know why my 5 inch monster tach keeps acting up jumping around alot? i just started car for 15 mins and it was all over the place.

How did you hook it up? What model year is your car? Who makes the tach?

it is hook into crank sensor, and it is auto meter with tach adapter. my car is a 2000 gt.

just rewired my tach like video shows. it works great better then before, thanks again wmburns.
