tail lights

ok so ya, i <3 the tail lights off the 1979 and 1981 mustangs, they wouldnt by any chance be able to fit on on my 89lx would they? i think i saw someone with them before but im not sure :-/

pretty sure they fit from 79-93

They will fit. I've test fitted 90 GT lights in my 79 notch. The bulbs need to be relocated (new holes) for mine. I would guess it would be the same for yours only oppocite. I'm still getting the wiring straight after transplanting the 5.0 ,AOD, rear, front suspension and brakes from the 90 to the 79. Does that make it a 79 GT?
