94 v6, somone put in clear 96-98 style tails. the outer two "bulbs" (led bulbs) stay on whenever the key is on, and they are dim. is there supposed to be power even back there without the brake/lights on? they get full brightness when the lights are turned on. has anyone ever had this problem? i want to fix the little stuff before i swap the motor for obvious reasons.
thanks jay

yea it looks ghey. i wouldnt doubt someone messed with it, i pulled out about 20#'s of useless wiring including neon underbody kit, with NO ballast. god knows how long that was on there for, 2 sets of fogs, random wires everywhere, the amp was hooked up ON the back seat and it was grounded by sticking the ground wire INTO a rear seat hole that was missing the bolt. took the seats out and looks like someone puked there 5 years ago. not to mention the smell and various broken plastic parts on the interior. i could go on and on, but i bought it from someone on here for a good deal so ill bite my tongue

check to make sure the harness is plugged in correctly??? Not sure if there is a constant voltage back there. But if the plugs are broken you can easily plug it in incorreclty.

I did.

Reverse and brake would come on when braking.

BUT.... Jess gets pulled over with one brake light out while driving her sisters 82 Benz, and it has two taillamps!!!! :rlaugh:  :bs:
