TCI is in and it rips. The 40 year old C-4 just wasn't happy with the new engine mods. Now it can smoke the rear tire until I get sleepy. Man, now I really want my rear end. The one wheel peel isn't working for me!

Hey Dan, congrats on the new trans! I will tell you one thing tho....enjoy those long one legged burnouts....once you put the posi in, it'll hook alot faster (and consequently not feel as "fast" since it won't be the same tireshredding monster it once was)

I went with a 2200 stall, and it seems real happy with it. The cam recommeded stock stall, so 2200 being just a bit higher seems to be working nice.

Chris,

Likewise, it's always fun to meet up with those you only know from behind a comp. screen.

The peg leg isn't going to be for long. I'll be spending too much on Goodyear Tire & Rubber company products! That 2200 stall launches the FB like a rocket. I really am amazed. I can't image how much better it will be with a 3:55 and a locker. SCARY!

CBarton, how's the new engine coming along?

The new shortblock is finished. Has been for a month. I have been so busy that I don't think about it all that much. I need to get the heads over to the builder and order the spacer for the webers then he can set up the dyno time. THEN I have to install it and get it to Orange so I can have headers made.....just the headers will take 3-4 weeks....so I have learned to not be in a hurry.....I am hoping for early feb. for it to be in the car and running....of course I need to get set up with G Force also as my T5 is NOT going to live behind the 427 for long at all.......that's ANOTHER $2500+..............Arrrgggg....
