Well I am going to bite the bullet here soon and fix my handling on my mustang. I am ordering a TCP coilover front suspension, power rack and pinion steering and the Subframe connectors. there is a muscle car garage 3 miles from my home and they will install it. the guy told me about 3 days for everything if it goes well. they want to give the car a good lookover to make sure the frame is straight before starting and i agreed.
I am debating also doing the disc brake uprade for the fronts as well. is there a kit that will fit 15x7 torque thrust wheels? im running 225 60 r 15 tires.
on the rear the leaf springs were replaced with springs from a 68 big block not long ago. I know the shocks in the back are a bit weak and will need to be replaced as well looking for shock recomendations for the rear as well as any other advice. I am probably going to reuse my old steering column and steering wheel for now however i will sand it down and repaint it.
Woot Woot im getting excited, probably gonna order all the parts tomorrow im just hoping they are in stock. does anyone else stock TCP stuff except Mustang Depot? I kinda like Mustang depot because they take paypal and my credit card limit isnt high enough to buy all the stuff at once.

That's some major cash, but I'm sure the difference will be night and day.

As for the brakes, from what I know I think you're limited to a 11.25" rotor. I've been researching disc brake conversions for when I convert soon and was planning to go with a kit from SSBC.

I'm going to be buying 15x7 TTD and plan on running the same size tires as you, and I was going to buy this kit, which is pretty much their base introductory package: http://www.stainlesssteelbrakes.com/products/detail/443/?make=Ford&model=Mustang&year=1965

This kit is a bit more expensive (about $500 more) but it features their Force 10 package, and it also will fit in a 15x7 wheel. http://www.stainlesssteelbrakes.com/products/detail/448/?make=Ford&model=Mustang&year=1965

I hope this helps you.
