Hi Guys,

I went down and drove a new Cobra, and liked it very much too, but was kinda suprised that they would not deal on price at all. I mean, they have brand new 03s sitting there and they're advertising like crazy. I mainly went because they sent me the third letter in the last couple of months, asking if I was ready to replace my current Mustang. The best they would do was knock 3500 off of an 03. Have any of you bought an 03 or 04 Cobra lately? If you have, what kinda deal did you get? (if you don't mind my asking)

Around here they are offering employee pricing on almost all domestics...EVen the Z06 2004 vette I was looking into. I would not pay much more then that right now for much of anything.

i bought my 04 cobra two weeks ago. the salesman wouldnt deal at all. had to go straight to the general manager. and yes, he was willing to do some dealing. they have several 04's on the lot, and even an 03 10th anniv on the showroom floor that they havent moved. maybe try and deal with the gen. manager at your dealership

I bought my '04 the last week of March and paid invoice. My initial contact was with their internet guy over the phone after I had sent emails to several local area dealers. Initially he said sticker only. After I chuckled a bit I asked him to get with his sales manager and get back to me......I was going in to the dealer that offered me the best price. He called me back 45 minutes later with invoice price. They had just taken delivery on the car, so the dealer will pocket the full amount of holdback, but that's it.

If you are quoted sticker, turn and walk......I guarantee that they will stop you before you get to the door.

I got 4000 off my 04 and they gave me 9000 for my 99 GT....

i bought new 03 last week @ 5000 below sticker for 30,100 (silver).There is a 10th anniversay edition in detroit for 30,400.

Thanks Guys, it seemed they were a little too stubborn. Now they're sending me thank you notes for driving their car. I think they're harder up than they want to admit, I think I'll bide my time..........(the old cobra still runs just fine, no supercharger, but still just fine)

I'm with ya Irv...you got the upper hand...because you have a nice car and don't need to get into the new one...they need to make the deal not you...just my .02

I got 4000 off my 04 and they gave me 9000 for my 99 GT....

Do you have a vert? Because at Dplan on a coupe is not even 4000 off, and there is not a better price than dplan.
