When my car was ( NA ) there was about a 3-4 tenth difference in 1/4 mile times due to temp. at the track with temps in the high 70's to low 80's the car would run 13.9's or 14.0's. the best it ever ran ( NA ) was 13.58 at 101.5 with a 1.94 60ft. The temp was 56 degrees out and the track was prepped well. So anyhow now i have a 6psi powerdyne on, had to give up my race pullies and short belt because they wouldnt work with the charger, and went to the track about 2 weeks ago. the best I ran was a 13.23 at 106.1 with a crappy 2.08 60ft. the temp was 72 degress. So my question is for everyone with a charger on their car. What kind of time difference have you experienced with your cars running them in warm weather as opposed to cool weather. Everybody I talked to said that when the temps start to get into the mid to low 60's and cooler that thats when the superchargers really perform. I guess I was just hoping to see a 12 second pass in the warm weather. Any feedback would be great.

What type of tires do you run on your car and do you have any suspension work done? With a 106mph trap, you could get some 12 second timeslips even in the heat if you can get some more grip. Also, for what it's worth, I've seen supercharged cars trap up to 5-6mph slower than usual when running in 85 degree temps and nearly 85% humidity here. That's not a good rule of thumb to go by from one place to another unless conditions are similar though(elevation, temps, humidity, etc.). The summer heat/humidty here in GA really makes a difference in my how supercharged(non-intercooled) pulls.....it loves 70* and lower temps though.

I have Nitto 555R 245/50/16 drag radials, my car is lowered with no real adjustability in the suspension. With me in the car it weighs 3550, so while its not a pig its not exactly light. I was thinking about going with 15" MT ET-Streets.

your car seems alittle heavy - I thought w/ a driver, foxes were supposed to weigh in around 3100 - W/ a supercharger, you should have been in the 12's, i dont understand why your not...

It's true that your car can run slower when its hot out but at 72 degrees that's not really a factor. Every tenth in 60ft is worth 2 tenths at the end of the track. If you can improve your 60ft you can easily get into the 12's. You have a lot of room for improvement.....you're just about there as it is.
