Temp Gauge Problem

Well to start off, I have an 85 GT that Im in the process of restoring(50% done).

Since it is a project car, it doesnt run very often. When I take it out of the shop to let it run, I normally let it get up to temp and then shut it off. Well the last time I let it run, (about 30 mins). I noticed my temp gauge didnt move at all. Only two things I can think of, Gauge itself, or the sending unit. If its the Sender, Where is it? How much will it cost to get a new one? Any other suggestions. Thanks in Advance.

Before you replace the sender, check to see that the wire is still attached to the sender. On mine it's on the drivers front side of the motor.

The sender can't be more than 10.00 (guessing) and should take all of 2 minutes to swap.

Top front left side (right side if standing in front of the car) of intake by the dist. Check out the sender the wire and the gauge. I've got a pic but I can't figure out how to post it.

could be u pinched(cut) the wire aswell.

Well the asshat who used to own the car, rigged up the wire around the sender, and it fell off. So I fixed it for good now. Thanks everybody for there opinions.
