Hey guys I am hoping you could help me with this.. Some of ou know my car other's don't. Basically it is an alum head 95GT. FL headers no smog etc.

Today being a hot day I had her out running around. I know the therm is a 195*(fact stock temp) and she was there for a while then climbed to ~210* and stayed there. IT is only 15* but I was hoping you guys could tell me what you see your cars running at. I was not that worried about it, but I would like to know what sort of temp she can run to before I should start to panic and shut down...

My car runs at 210 constantly. That's with a fluidyne radiator also. I put in a manual fan switch, and with that on it will usually stay at 180 or so. I wouldn't worry too much about 210, but anything higher start watching it.

In heavy traffic, mine will heat up to maybe 195 degrees. Any other time, it is either 185 or slightly less. Ever since I ran a little bit of water wetter, it has run ice cold. I flushed the cooling system about a year ago and refilled it, but I guess there is still some water wetter left over... My thermostat is a 180 degree and the radiator is stock. I have no EGR either.

I have a 160 stat so I can't help ya. If I were you I'd get a better radiator and listen for ping. or maybe put some louvers on your hood so some of the heat from teh heads can get out of the engine bay.
