My 96 GT temp gauge consistantly runs above the mid point. I was curious how hot everyone elses were running and is ABOVE mid normal?

Would a new therm help or is that even needed?

The guage in the car really isnt accurate..As long as the car isnt overheating and the fan is working..It should be fine...

But to be safe, I'd flush it, fill it, and add a bottle of RedLine Water Wetter (supposed to keep you up to 20 degrees cooler).
FYI - With a colder stat, ideally you'd also want your fan to come on at a cooler temp.
