Tensioner Broke Off

Has anybody had there tensioner snap off the timing chain cover with the casting that is part of the threads that the bolt attachs too and the bolt did not strip, also everything else is ok with no problems with any of the pullys all spin freely. The only work that was done was the vortech 8 rib conversion and it ran fine untill this last tuesday were just a normal acceleration it snaped off.

my buddys KB car did the same thing. i guess they just wear out.
