well i went to the dealer today........went in and saw the mach....they had it inside.....talked to a salesman...(pretty cool guy) and told him my intentions....after some talk....he let me test drive it.......wow they are very nice....lot more kick......2nd gear was freekin awesome....loved the color, loved the power...........smile on my face the whole time.....but here is the kicker.......as i pulled back into the dealership, my car was right there at the door........man did it look insane........and right then i forgot all about the mach............now i know i am retarded....crazy....maybe even stupid....but for just that instance i said no way......and so it ended......maybe will regret it....who knows.....even though not the same power, the ride home was awesome nontheless..........

I had $6,000 in aftermarket stuff on my '93 GT, and when I heard the Mach's were going into production I sold my '93 GT in a heartbeat.

Thumbs up to you for being able to resist! I ended up trading in my 00' GT for a Mach 1.. I'm glad I did it, but at times I miss the GT (especially the cheap payments, and the fact that I almost had the car paid off ).

I feel the exact same way. DOHC 32 V8, Shaker, and seats make me glad I did though. One thing you'll instantly notice with the Mach besides the cool shaker, is the newfound midrange punch of the motor and the seats that acutally hold you in around a turn.
