yeah that is the truth,, $50K is a lot of money to spend on a mustang, but like i said for half or even 1/3 as much you can build you a nice fox or a 03/04 cobra and they will put down over 600rwhp if done right and eat most everything on the road, just thought i would give my input on the 427R,, looks slick but not for 50K

another thing i think that ford did wrong with their new stangs is on the saleen when we opened the door the plastic control housing on the drivers seat was already falling apart, it was hanging off the seat,, and they put a flat round saleen sticker on the steering wheel and it was peeling off, i mean come on ford for $50000 and a saleen id expect a new steering wheel or at least some kind of a moulding instead of a sticker,,,

umm, Ford has nothing to do with the quality issues you point out on the Saleen. That is all on Steve and his crew. Anyways, I prefer strawberry pancakes to blueberry pancakes.

yeah i know ford has nothing to do with it, but when it is sitting in their lot and have a lot of people looking at it you would think that they would have noticed those flaws and fixed them b4 trying to sell someone an expensive car, just my opinion

It's a good opinion... "Looks slick but not for 50K" are my exact thoughts!
