Texas Hotrods horror story

I had ordered a set from Stangmods and had to cancel the order because of the backorder situation. So I ordered a set of Mac longtubes and a prochamber from THR on off Evil bay on 8/7 under the assumption that they had been in stock. I got an e-mail from them a few days later saying that they were on backorder and should be here in 2 weeks. They even offered to comp me 2 t-shirts or $20 in shipping delays. 2 weeks passed and I contacted them and still another 2 weeks. Well a month and a half later no headers or t-shirts still. I called Mac to see what was going on and they said that at the beginning of this week they would be shipping out. So again I called THR to see what the deal was. After being on hold for about 20-30 minutes the VP customer service rep tells me that theyre going to be another 2 weeks out. I asked if it was too late to cancel the order ( because matt at stangmods called me personally and told me they had them in stock now) Well , I could cancel the order but it was about a $50 credit car fee for each order. Needles to say I wont ever do business with THR again.

Never delt with them and looks like I wont. I like LMR and Texas Mustangs cause they are both driving distance and have always had great service for me :nice:

Damn that sucks. Sorry for your luck man. Thanks for the look out though:nice:

Laser dude that sig is hilarious
Thanks. I ran across it when my work keybord started only occasionally working and I hunt and peck so when I looke up at the screen I only would see 2/3 of the charechters and the shift button has it out for me :fuss:

Anywho, I had heard all about MAC being on backorder forever but that really sucks with the runaround. I will never do buisiness with them and will pass it along to my local friends with Stangs. We usually all go to LMR anyway.
I still need to learn what the best Termi parts places are though :shru:
