if so, why are they so cheap?

You're going back to N/A, right?

With 64cc chambers .... those are clearly forced induction heads. Even most domed pistons, in conjunction with those heads, will still probably net you a low CR. Not for N/A, IMHO.

Forced induction head?!!?!?! WTF?

Anyway.. High Ports are a killer head and can be taken VERY far. They are an inline 2.02 valved head fyi. Im not sure what pistons you have but stockers probably won't work unless theyre cut.

As for the price, no idea. Ask the guy and see what he says. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is

If the 64cc is too big for you mill them down to get the chambers where you want. Milling is cheap. Used heads should get a clean up mill regardless.

yes i am going back to n/a, investigating options for heads. sounds like these are not for me because i just learned that they require specific headers too, and i just bought some coated long tubes.

by forced induction heads, i'm sure 70m1 means that the compression ratio is much better for a blower car ...

64cc is at or just a tad less than a 93-95 gt40 (non-P) head. It wont put you too much down from what the E7's give you comp. wise.

Highports are the chit.

What size are the chambers of a GT40?

* Chris, sorry man for taking this off topic. Just trying to gain a little info. here myself. Since the typical aftermarket head is at or below 60 cc .... it seemed to me that 64 cc was a little big for N/A.

I have always thought High Ports were a head that have a lot of potential as back in the day ... they were on some Stangs that were the chit at that time.

The original ones were iron so if those on ebay are iron ... no weight savings there, and as you pointed out, header issues.

Great Head no doubt about it ... but not so sure they are the best head for the typical stock block combo you mostly see on these forums.

You really are looking at all options ... thats good

Looking costs nothing

they are great heads if you want to go through with the header swap and they kick ass on some big combos. but you might be good with some regular tfs

Those are really good heads. Unfortunately there is still 3 days left in the auction. You are going to see them go to about 1000 or more by the end.
