I found this package from Summit.
http://store.summitracing.com/partd...4294925232+4294908331+400098+115&autoview=sku

Sorry if it isnt linked right, Im not computer smart. It's the one with intake, heads, roller rockers, pushrods, valve covers, head bolts, gaskets, etc. I added it all up separately and it came out to about 2500.00. The kit is 2199.00.
Now, I have a completely untouched engine from intake to oil pan. I feel my engine is strong enought to be built up. I know there has been alot of talk about AFR'S and other heads, but this seems pretty good, price wise and performance wise. I can always upgrade the t.b. and maf as money permits for better results.
If I get the kit, would it be beneficial to get the track heat kit which is the biger intake for 50.00 more?
4.10 gears, CAI, pulleys, headers, h-pipe, flows.
Your opinions pleez, and has anyone bought this package who has numbers?
Thanx

I didn't get the track heat. If you are on a budget the trickflow is the way to go. If you are'nt I'd create your own "kit." I love my kit, but after a while you just want more and more power. I'm debating on super/turbo/nitrous on my kit.

Oh yea, I run 12.7 completely untouched suspension.

I made 304hp/339tq with that 'kit' before it was sold as a kit. That was with a too small 65mm tb, 1 5/8" shorty headers and the street heat manifold. It would have been better with a 75mm tb and longtube headers. My best track time was a 12.8 @ 107.

With 4.10 gears go with the track heat. Maybe play with the cam ICL to play with the powerband. I second what Mackey suggested in mixing and matching a better combo.

I'm guessing that was with a tune, right?

No, tuned at the track myself via FP adjustments and twisting the distributer. Stock eec. I changed nothing on the dyno, I had it perfect.

I bought the Track heat last summer and like it. You will need some supporting mods and some type of tune to get the most out of it. My dyno numbers are with a auto and a Mustang dyno.

Yeah you will need some 30lb injectors and a MAF cal'ed to it, or a chip/tuner. Also a bigger fuel pump is necessary (might as well do a 255lph, almost same price).

Regulator can stay stock as well as fuel lines/fittings. I would get a fuel pressure gauge while you are at it. Summit sells an adapter that fits inplace of the schrader valve and the gauge mounts to the adapter. Nice setup I must say.
