I'm getting ready to redo my brakes with new drums. I painted my current ones black a long time ago and I was considering painting the new ones silver. Thanks for keeping me from doing that.

Car looks great.

DMAN......Awesome!! Car looks incredible (as always)

Regarding the drums...I would give them a shot of gun metal'ish color. the silver makes it stand out and say "HEY, I HAVE REAR 4 LUG DRUMS!!!", and the black will mask the lines of the black wheel. I personally machined up discs to hide the rear brakes. Kinda like a 'brake dust shield', andhad them powder coated. Some don't like them. However, my names the one on the ownership.
Overall....Your car is 'top shelf'.

The car is beautiful!!! I used to be a fan of "painting brakes to match the color of the car" but now im more of a subtle person... IMO i love the photoshop MOB did of it with black drums. Seems like you have quite the mix opinions in this thread about what you should do so im sure its not much of a help. In the end, whatever you do, the car will still look amazing!!

Wow - I just got a whole new level of respect for your car. I thought it was a 20K mile car with no work done to it. Amazing turn-around!

She may look like a spoiled little girl, but she lived a tough life . The body aside from the quarter damage was just amaizingly clean underneath...it was a southern car, it was solid, and the price was right. After 5 yrs the only thing left original to the car aside from the body is the dash and pumpkin...near everything else was fairly tired and ready to go...so I replaced what needed replacing and upgraded..everthing I could afford to upgrade
