whell i got it back today with the new 4:10's and the rebild kit, it was the 1998 GT i got for 5000.00 cuz of the rear end noise, had the K&N put in and the 180 Degree Thermostat. it had the 1" wheel spacers on it when i got it, still has the 17" 98 GT rims on it, but has cobra emblems ,and hood (i think its the hood) . any ways that will give me something to get down the road , and some other small things ( cams and head's ! ) got all the mods off the site , so thanks for the help ! i love the 4:10's most you guys got , they make it move on out ! and this is NOT my car (fu@k'ed up D-cam i got is crap ! ) but it look's just like it ! i'll have some of mine on soon...

i just got it like last sat. , so i have not got pics yet , my uncle has a good cam, so this sat. or sun. ill have hem take some....

i got to looken good at it today, and it is not the hood just the badges, so i will need to get a hood and the rims... o ya ! does the 17x9 and 17x10.5's go for the 98 to ? or is that just a 99 up thing ? or should i just get the 17x9 all around....

Well I have a 98 GT as well and i at first wanted to see if I could get vette tires to fit but that was a no go with the stock 17's. I got the 96 cobra R wheels and I like them a lot. I used to have bigger tires on the back of mine and I must say that I like that too. Just my person opinion go with the 10.5's on the back because i believe that they should fit. I also have a question for u too. I am stuck about which gears i should get I have had equal amounts of people telling me to get 373's and some people who said get 4.10's. Did ur gears give u the kind of power u were looking for?

Pughman: I wasn't posting that as a bad thing towards you. I was pointing it out for everyone that was saying that they didn't see the badges and stuff on the car pic you posted. As far as I know the 17X10.5's should fit on there just fine. That's what I'm looking at for mine in the future.

i didnt take your post in a bad way ! i just dont know **** about mustangs ! i have been a chevy guy all my life but found out that fords are better cars, got a taurus and a F250 on 35's so i needed a hot rod ford to !


and i have no clue what the stock gears where... and i only drove it with them for like 50 miles, then had the 4.10's put in...but so far i love them ,B.A.D a ss ! i dont know about the gas mileage but a 70 mph it was at around 3000 rpm...in 5th...

That is a beautiful 68 camaro.

I also found out that FORD makes better cars after owning 3 GMs before I bought my mustang. Congrats on your new car and lets see some pics.
