Well...this was the loss I anticipated. I just hope that the rest of the way we can pull the rest out. Thing is they didn't drop USC but to 7th so LSU should only drop 3-4 and still have a shot.
I hope Kentucky beats Florida then wins out. We would get another crack at them. The SEC CG will be a different story.

heh, you just dont want to play florida on a neutral field... you know what would happen if you did!next week should be good for us, we have had a week off to rest, train, and prepare for UK. kentucky? they've had a triple over time game against some hard hitting mofo's from LSU, then they have to get over the excitement, and try to get ready for us next weekend. i'd say that's in our favor. plus, we're coming off 2 losses, they're coming off a huge win, i'd say we have the edge...

We softened KY up for you next week. Just like we were down after last week. I just hope we don't shut completely down. Lots of football left.
I actually picked this as a loss at the beginning of the season. Just because it was on the road and sandwiched in between Florida and Auburn.

but i think we have a good chance of winning out. the sec is quite interesting now. if auburn wins tonight, they're tied with LSU for west leader, and it's kentucky, USCe, and UT for the east, but we play UK and USCe, and have a chance to get them out.... but UT will be the killer for us, if they dont lose. but i think they will lose one more game. boy are they lucky they dont have to play LSU
oddly enough, 2 of the last 3 time's ive seen the "lou holtz's pep talk," the team he talked up lost. UF and LSU, lol

I ran out to do some errands, get back at 8 PM and turn on the TV just in time to see all the Kentucky people mobbing the field and celebrating. I missed a triple OT, dammit.
At any rate, that is unbelievable! More upsets...waiting to see what happens with Oregon State and California, Oregon looks to be hanging in there pretty well.
And ya know what scares me? USF might finish this season undefeated. The rest of their season is cake, the only possible hurdles they could have is Rutgers, Cincinnati and Louisville...and I don't think any of them are good enough to be much of a challenge.

that lou holtz thing is freaky, only team i've seen that he talked to that won was USF vs WV (not that that's a hard to win game anyways)
