I like the styling on the front, but it's a bit too wide for me. I don't care for the back end at all. Just my personal thoughts.

I got a question, how much weight does the kit add or subtrace from the s197? This would be a big factor in my decision.

I'd be willing to bet a solid 95% of people would love the outcome.

It would be another good example of my body work abilities.

Edit: Work Wheels Japan. Same as in my signature. The red car has VS-KF 20's.

even if they didn't love it ? So what ? Do it, if you love it. If you love it, I'll love it if only because it's your car, your mods, your style. It would be pretty boring if we were all the same. The hell with the nay-sayers, put your pics up when you get done.

Good question. It's made out of FRP and because of which, I don't see more than 100lbs being added, plus the massive wheels and brakes.

So I talked with my buddy yesterday and he said that it's an extremely well made kit and little prep work had to be done to make it fit well. I didn't have any other finished pics of the stang, but if you want some inprogress pics let me know and I'll pm them to you. As far as the weight gain goes I would suggest emailing APR.

I emailed vivid racing for a shipping weight of the kit.

Please do PM me the in progress pictures. Thank you!

The parts on the rear quarter panel must be screwed or riveted on and then bondo applied and smoothed; pretty involved process. Here is a link to the page on their site with the kit. It can be had for less than the $4,000 that it retails for.
