I've installed the n/a engine back, and the car don't want to start again..

Here is my setup right now:

-PC1
-35lbs injectors
-Small VAM
-I've kept the Barometric instead of the MAP
-I've kept the EGR of the n/a with the turbo EGR solenoid

I've read the codes, and everything is fine...

I've got few explosion, but not enough to make it start.

I can smell the gas, so I think I've got gas. I've got oxygen,

and I've got fire.

-Even if I turn the distributor, nothing much happen... So the timing isn't a solution..

-Every sensor was plugged back, except the ACT,(no need, I've got the PC1('86 thunderbird computer) at least I think..).

-Compression is good, 'cause the engine was in the car before, and was running great.

-If 2 spark plugs on 4 have some paint on them, could it be my problem?

-I just don't understand, if an engine have air/fuel/fire, what else could it needs?

if anybody can help me, please do so. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Change your plugs, just incase that is your problem. If its not, then you can rule out that factor.

Like Stinger said, check your cam timing, that could be it.

If you are sure that it is getting fuel and getting spark, then it has to be something mechanical. But double check to make sure you are getting both fuel and spark. Perhaps it could be your TFI module. (Ignition module).

It have a part on it that was melted, I think I have 50% of the chance to find the problem there...

any other ideas?
Thanks!

the stang have started yesterday night!

I've start it 3 times,

1- if I stop pressing on the gas, the car will stall...

2- the idle stays at 1000, but car was shaking,

3- it goes up until 2500RPM and stay there...

what's the problem now?

Have you set the timing to spec?

Have you checked for codes after running the engine?

Vacuum leaks?

I don't think the VAM signal is used at startup, but just in case, try unplugging it and starting it. If it runs any better, the VAM may be suspect. Note: This will throw a code.

Hello, I'm having the exact problems with my two mustangs. If you don't mind telling, what worked for you? I posted a topic a while ago, but wasn't as clear so I didn't get any responses.

Have you ever try to read the codes? if not, you can go at walt-mart and buy a code reader for approx.25$..

and maybe it's only the choke, if so, try giving a fast little shot on the gas pedal..

and I'm stuck with the problem of the rough idle, the car is shaking like hell..
