The DMV hates me Help!

So, I moved from Wa to Fl, bought a truck. The truck has temp plates. I need a Florida license but I cant get one because California blocked my ability to get a out of state license because of a DUI a few years ago, they say I need proof of residency, and sr-22 insurance. They denied the stuff I sent in over a year ago and never told me. Now I cant prove residency as I'm kind of couch crashing. I cant register the truck for new plates because I dont have a License I cant get, man it's one thing after another. Anybody have any workarounds now it looks like I'll either have to get my girlfriend to register it in her name, or register it from out of state back in Wa. OR drive out to Louisiana and get a license there and register it I dont have a damn
clue what to do! All I want is some damn plates to throw on the thing!


How do I get California to stop blocking me from getting a license? They want proof of residency, and sr-22. I don't have either, and I dont HAVE any proof of residency.

WTF am I supposed to do, drive illeagle like everyone else?

i hope you have it taken care of already but ...

for the residency - ask your girl friend if you could transfer her water bill, electric bill or gas bill into your name for a couple months. once the first bill with your name appears you should have residency to satisfy CA.

Eh, I had to go offshore before I could get the thing taken care of, but I'm going to register it through Wa state from out of state, apperantly I can do that...As far as bill, My girl and I are renting a room from one of my buddies, adn I'll probably have to wait till he and I are both onshore to swap a bill.
